About KSCC

At the KANSAS SOCIETY for Children with Challenges, we look beyond a child’s disability and envision what is possible — the incredible potential their lives hold. Unfortunately, many physically handicapped children fall through society’s cracks because their families are unable to afford the equipment and services needed to overcome their disability, or don’t qualify for assistance from other agencies.

The KANSAS SOCIETY for Children with Challenges provides hope. We are, in many cases, the last resort for desperate parents and guardians of disabled children. When families are denied assistance or have “tapped out” all other sources, the KANSAS SOCIETY for Children with Challenges provides financial aid to purchase health equipment or pay for the cost of medical or hospital services for disabled children under the age of 21.
