How to Get Help

The purpose of the Kansas Society for Children with Challenges is, and always has been, to provide direct, free medical assistance to needy children who have nowhere else to turn. If you know of a child who is not receiving the help he or she needs, we ask that you contact us. We will follow up by contacting the family to determine the child’s needs. In our fiscal year 2024 that ended Aug. 31, the KSCC helped approximately 100 children with various medical needs, ranging from medical equipment and home modifications to improving the child's mobility and communication needs. Because we are privately funded and receive no government or United Way funding, we can cut through red tape to offer immediate assistance.
